...in truth, all that I consumed was two glasses of wine and a couple of hazelnut vodka chasers. I was up until 01:30 I am very unused to drinking, I felt quite off balance Friday.
Lots of water and a slow day, combats the after effects of having a celebratory drink.
Friday night I went back to my sleeping 'rules' - bed at nightfall, rise at sunrise.
This pattern (like a bird/flower) is helping me to feel more energised, happier, healthier as well as the plant based diet, raw juicing and sufficient time spent in nature (no processed food, apart from Borders biscuits - which I recommend as 'the best biscuits' - and the odd thing here and there, dark chocolate, peanut butter or chocolate mousse. I tend to make my own things, for treats - cakes, vegan cakes and apple tarts/crumbles.
Friday was all about completing a few tasks, to do with house, home and general organisation /plans for the week ahead. Saturday, today, will be mainly about taking time for me...reading, beach, dog walking, and giving a lot of thanks and gratitude for all that I am, all that I know, the progress that I have made in this last year - from heartbreak, grief and loss - and all of my current blessings; all that I have - including the peace, love and happiness that I in my life.
It's a beautiful day. A beautiful early Autumn day.
