...are the best days.
As are 'chill days'.
So, it's Virgo Season. 'I's' dotted, 'T's' crossed. You had better do it before we get into Libra Season.
You bet.
I love the approaching Fall Season. Virgo "Hermit" (in traditional Tarot) Getting the grind on for easing into the Hygge season. Cosy on down. Pick your crop (if you are lucky to have any)
I spent an entire morning on the mundane tasks. MOT. Who needs paying? Who owes me? Who would I like to officially do away with? Slice and dice? Who do I need to phone and get things square with? Who do I keep? What do I do away with? What do I keep? Who's in? Who's out? Who's hot? Who's not? : )
Daughters' Grad photos to order. It's all about a new Season and prepping for a more comfortable Autumn/Winter. What's next in the late Summer?. Prep for Autumn. Tying up loose ends. I kinda like September it gives you a chance to review the last year, get square with everything, and approach the new academic year with confidence.
By lunchtime I was in need of some retail therapy. You bet. What do I give back to myself? after giving, giving, paying this, paying them...blah de blah. For being a hard working MF?
So, before I had a chance to consider my exact next movements....(following my flow) of the day I had met up with a dog walking pal, a few metres away from my home. We had a good old chat about security...dogs and defence, only to later meet her in Martlets (while engrossed in conversation with Elaine) with her new man...a Bobby!
A couple of shopping moments later...I had noticed that the ceramic and wood cheese board (I had admired the day before from the window) was now gone. Sad face.
My friend walked by, I pretended to hide behind a mannequin, to tell me that he had bought it for me, earlier in the morning. Aaaaaaaaw. Chuffed and so grateful.
I decided that there was nothing for me today....hmmmm? So I went to make a beauty therapy booking. My feet are wrecked, again. The mileage an active woman makes in a couple of months - since the last pedi...is, well, higher than average. Time for a feet treat.
I met another friend. Chat. Hugs. I got damn well checked out, three times....could you have made that more obvious, mate? While we were chatting. Perhaps it was a two girls/women, one clearly lesbian...the other one...might be? Or just two hot chicks, embracing? Or a hot chick with J Lo hair, sexy halter denim dress, MLVC arms. .I mean, could you roll your tongue back into your mouth and push your goggle eyes back in your head, please?
'Dontcha wish your girlfriend was hot, like me (us), dontcha?'
Especially for guys dating rough dogs/hoes : )

I ran across the road, after, in front a white van - with plenty of time. My friend shouted "Be careful"...I replied, "I'm a Cat". One of the village elders clocked me and nodded in agreement. Nice moments.
Of course, after all, I felt the need to go back to Martletts to have a chat with Elaine, and to thank her for my flowers....and then...well...I figured it's time to consider Autumn wear. For some or other reason, I was attracted to light colours. Cream and neutrals. Why do we go into darker colours in the Autumn winter? Not this year. I am more an more drawn to creams and neutrals. Soft cream jeans soft neutral jumper and white/grey skirt, soft grey rucckie, cream beanie later...I tried some neon green/yellow f-off heels...stiletto...lethal weapons, but no good for walking in. Looked fab...totally impractical. Wallpaper roll...random, for a bedroom feature wall. Happy campers.
And then....I tuned into the tunes of the day. Tunes of the day are the tunes that pop into your head out of nowhere (not heard on the radio or anywhere) they just download into your brain. These are tunes that I sing to myself as I am doing my daily business. I cannot get them out of my head, no matter how I try. Later, in house, I have a need to play them.
And with all of the fabulous synchronicities and meet ups of the day, and time spent at my friend's house in discussion and in funny mode, realising that my victim Support officer has also been doing improvisation acting/comedy-
My car was delivered home from it's annual health check (MOT), by the gorgeous KD, with two new tires and new brake pipes. Happy campers.
I love my beautiful car. I was two years off road, following a car accident, where the third party went our on a fraudulent compensation claim. It put me off driving. Not in so much as I am not safe. I don't think people are safe. Lying, cheating the system. I did not want to drive, for some time after this. Having had no car for two years was like a prison sentence.
My car, to me, is the next best thing after my home and family (incl. pets)
I have a fantasy to do the Top Gear Challenge. Missed vocation; Racing Driver. I simply enjoy driving (apart from rush hour hell)
My good friend CM is coming for dinner on Saturday, two years catch-up. I'll do a veg roast. Really looking forward to seeing him. We were flat mates, way back when. I have been invited, by my 'boyfriend' to 'fruit pick', in his garden. Since I have a lovely pair of apple catchers...seems like a plan. The sentiment is nice, though I'd rather lounge with a Mojito in hand and watch him do it...naked : )
Well, make the most of it before we are swaddled up in winter sweaters and boots and hats and scarves. Make hay while the sun still shines. Correct.
