When you heal, you have to learn self-patience. It's a process and if it is to take a very long time, you accept it.
Sagittarius is represented, among other things as the 'Wounded Healer'. This is because the energy of the Sagittarius is Jupiterian. It is Jovial (Jove) and it knows how to come out of 'battle' and heal. It's energy cannot stay in a low vibe for long, since it is the most optimistic of the signs and hates to be in pain. Sagittarians are know to pick themselves up and dust themselves off and start all over again. The good thing, in being the sign of teaching, learning and philosophy, it can transmute the pain into learning, teaching and philosophising in order to take the positive out of any negative situation and show people about survival and how to get back up from 'Period, blank, zero'. With this transmutation, others can learn from them, and how possible it is. The Sagittarian energy is not afraid to speak their mind, or their experiences and will gladly share them with others. It is a loyal energy who, once loyal, will always be, and sometimes to their detriment. Because of generous spirit and gregariousness, the energy of Sagittarius doesn't mind who does not share their views or who does not like them. The energy is to be able to transmute tragedy to comedy. Laughing and joking is a part of their survival strategy. Humour can be dark and sarcastic, masking pain. Sagittarius energy is the type that people love or loathe. The mentality is do or die, black or white, in or out. Future focussed with undying optimism that the best is yet to come. Always looking towards something to celebrate. Never half full or half empty..the bar is over there : )
It is much like Scorpio in it's ability to 'rise from the ashes', as the Phoenix is associated with this sign. Pluto/Hades/The Underworld. It is the energy of transmutation, metamorphosis, dying to be reborn, transformed. The Scorpio, if trapped in a burning bush or room will kill itself before undergoing a death through fire. The significance of Scorpio is linked to the present tense of Autumn. Leaves are falling, nights are lengthening, cold is coming and there is a feeling of death and to cover up. Hide-ber-nate-hibernate. The good thing about hiding out, is that during the peaceful respite, after summer, the energy is about going within and being less prominent or less visible. To go 'underground' (which is Hades/Pluto) is a necessary part of any transformation. Think of Cicades, who lay eggs underground and develop from pupae to bug over years in the dark. When they eventually emerge the are hidden in trees and are present in the noise that they emit more than their visual presence.
The energy of Scorpio is to be able to transform after going into hiding. The Scorpio energy can be 'scheming', they go within to decipher things. The energy is very associated with investigative behaviour, looking at the information present and piecing the jigsaw together, meticulously. This is usually done quietly, hence, the idea that Scorpios are secretive. Present focussed, they are often puzzling something out, right now. Always looking at what is going on in the now. They cry in the dark and nobody needs to know. Never completely dying off...I can rise as the Phoenix, when I'm ready.
Scorpio season, followed by Ophiuchus season, followed by Sagittarius season...Capricorn season taking us into the new year. Autumn is special season....winter is a bit of a bastard (nobody can change my opinion on this) Nevertheless, I will find ways to enjoy it. I will not let it get me down.
