...Wha'apen? Oh. Yes Weekend. Wasted, not wasted.
When you have a Leo over, remember to hoover, sweep and dust, get those surfaces shiny, lay out the red carpet, get some booze and food in and be prepared for some fun - or trouble (depending on if they are flush or not)
Bro was flush, with a dollar to spare. There's nothing so depressed as a broke Leo (or Sag or Aries) for that matter. Although I would say that there's nothing more depressed than a depressed Sag, Leo, Aries - period...we can take depressed to a whole other level.
Lucky for me I don't suffer from 'suicide Tuesday' (in this case it would have been 'suicide Monday')..and if I did, I did not notice.
In point of fact, I had a notion to beach it, again. I realised the only place I cared to be, was at the beach. So I went. It was a good plan. The only plan for the day, apart from morning admin and whizz to the surgery and library.
I finished 'Down Under', and started another, 'One Summer', by (yet again) Bill Bryson. It's about aviation. Random, interesting, surprising, sarcastic, informative and funny. All I need in a book.
I left my glasses, a bit of a pisser, but...it's ok, I have a few pairs floating around and I'll get some more - it will give me the opportunity to visit the shop, again.
I am looking forward to September. I have decided to start a new venture. New academic term, new year. I'll meet new people and study something new. It will be good for me. I can wave the last year goodbye (or start to) and I will be able to look to new horizons. Byeeeeeeeee 2019. You've been quite good to me, there's been challenges (of course) but it has not been altogether bad.
It's good to get things in a good order, by the Autumn, and to welcome change and new beginnings.
