What have I gleaned, from my research?
Well, a lot more than I had thought.
Most astrologers would suggest that this current moon energy (the Moon major arcana card in tarot represents 'hidden things/secrets') is more powerful because Scorpio is connected with what lies beneath (Pluto/Hades/The Underworld/Mysteries) the surface.
It is likely that secrets may come to light, personal revelations, worldly revelations. It is virtually impossible to not discover something during this moon phase. Or to not be able be in a place of denial.
It can be as personal as seeing something that you may not have noticed, before now, about yourself or someone close to you. It can reveal things on a broader basis
The Scorpio placement suggests that the energies would be particularly intense or stronger to people who have a lot of Scorpio placements in their natal chart ; ), or those with Scorpio Sun, Moon or Rising or *Ophiuchus.
Overall, this particular rare moon is very energetic and is sending planetary 'light sources' that would not usually be present, during a regular full moon.
This extra light source, coming through planetary portals is powerful enough to uncover the deepest and most hidden truths. It claims to be a transformative energy that forces change and transformation. This can be applied to any area of (ones) life or the bigger picture.

What was my discovery of the day?
Over the peaceful weekend I was having a pluck at my guitar - in a vague attempt to get a couple of familiar chords - and I wondered where I had secreted my plectrum....this time.
I've put in it many places for safekeeping over years.
Today, in a kitchen blitz (HTF did it get so messy?), I found it at the bottom of my terracotta garlic pot. I wasn't looking for it....I was clearing out old garlic and it fell into my hand...
...this was not the singular 'hidden' that I found today....
*Ophiuchus known as the thirteenth constellation, that has been hidden for all this time - that astrologers believe to be 'sandwiched between' Scorpio and Sagittarius and possesses equal balance of the two. Because it is no 13, it has no polar opposite sign (ie six months distance with an opposite element eg Pisces and Virgo, water and earth) yet it is considered a dual sign with it's own polarity of Sc and Sa characteristics
