... Libra season, from tomorrow. 23/09
We'll all typically feel a bit lighter, like we don't need to take things as seriously as we may have been doing during Virgo season (Tarot M. Arcana = The Hermit).
You may feel more inclined to take a break and just enjoy yourself... which may or may not be good for your career. This is also known as the sign of balance (it's symbolized by a balanced scale), so you may find that compromise and harmony are really important to you in all aspects of your life.
Who's had an interestingly 'mundane' Virgo season? Me.
Practical steps to move your life in the right direction, being serious about things that need attention, resolving anything 'undone' and planning for the Autumn season. Harvesting (incl.)
Personally, this past 'season', in Virgo has had a lot to do with the practical aspects of your life. I often have high expectations of myself. There's nothing wrong with that. However, there's a fine line between being ambitious and being a ruthless workaholic. Quite.

Yesterday Sarah and Mike delivered to me a Rococo fire surround. It is very beautiful and I was then compelled to change it all up (again) Of course the furry ones were the first on the sofas in the new revised sitting room. I have divided up the room. Cosy relax partition and eating/working area. I use my dining table as a work space. I rarely eat there, unless I have guest/s.
Isn't she lovely, isn't she wonderful?
Love this. This lady is a true inspiration. 61. Still beautiful, inspiring, unique, authentic, ever evolving and fun. How I spend many an evening. Me myself and I and music and art and words.
Not everyone is coming to the future. Be the change you want to see. Yes, Eco-Demos are fine. Question is: How many Eco-warriors are starting with 'the man in the mirror'? This is the only way that real change occurs. It all starts and grows with how we live our lives, individually. It's about waking up to the lies, the delusions, illusions and programming. Want the world to be a better place? Be that better person. Create the life you want to live. Live without hurting others. Live consciously. Who cares how people perceive you. It's irrelevant.
Do you know what you are putting into your body? Do you know what you ae putting onto your body? Do you know what and how you consume? Do you know what you are wearing? Do you know whether your friends are frenemies? How many negative thoughts pass through your mind, daily? Is your lover toxic? Do you know if you are awake?
Here's an example: When I was fourteen-years old I decided to be 'vegetarian'. It was a very conscious decision. I also dyed my hair - because I was quite auburn/gingery - and started to earn my own money (although the first time that I had been employed was in a role for a film by the milk marketing board when I was 11-years old - the irony, diary products....wretch) I opened my first bank account at this age. My next 'large earning', took me to Canada, aged 15.
I had only ever eaten meat because it had been presented to me as a child. I had not ever liked it. I had seen all of the animals in the fields, farms and pastures. I did not like the idea at all. Neither did I actually enjoy eating meat.
My decisions and actions (to educate myself and learn to cook meat free food) caused people to ask me questions, namely 'Why?'
I did not think that I should owe any explanation. My explanation was multi-faceted. My aunt and uncle were kind enough to present me with a vegetarian cookery book by the food writer and cook, Sarah Brown. I was the only vegetarian that I knew of (apart from her) I learned a lot from this book including the nutritional aspects of meat-free food. There was no such thing as 'vegetarian food', in the shops. Linda McCartney started to produce her vegetarian range in the late 1980's. I had learned to make my own, thanks.
The worst bit about having been a 'rare' vegetarian, when declining meat, was this question; "Are you veggie?", to which I always (but never did) want to reply; "No, I'm Laura".
From around about this age, I was rather singled out as being 'odd', 'strange', 'unusual'. I wore Indian cotton dresses (by the brand 'Phool'). My favourite dress was indigo blue and violet paisley. It had small brass bells on the neck tassel fasteners and it was full-skirted. It was light and floaty as a feather. I became aware that 'different', was ok (yes, people will find reason to knock you as a non-conformist) and that not everyone has a taste for marmite.
I began not to care about what anyone's opinion's were. If you are born not to fit in, you are usually born to stand out. That is ok. We are a judgemental lot, humans. Sad. Does it matter, who does what? Focus on yourself, surely that's enough.
